About Us

Cheshire and North Staffs Angling Association was formed by 17 shareholding clubs in 2002 following the purchase of the fishing rights on Knypersley Reservoir. The 17 clubs put forward various representitives to stand on the committee which has the task of control the fishing on the reservoir on behalf of the shareholders. Each shareholder has the shared fishing rights on Knypersley Reservoir, meaning that it can be fished on any one of the shareholders permits. The shareholding clubs are as follows (note: 2 clubs have sice withdrawn from the Association):

- Fenton & District AS	- Group 2 AC
- Middleport AS	- Middlewich Joint Anglers

- Stoke-on-Trent AS	- Vicroia & Biddulph AS
- Wybunbury AA

The committee and shareholding clubs meet four times a year to discuss any issue's with the AGM in October. Only two appointed members of each shareholding club can attend the meeting. The CNSAA committee is currently as follows:

Fishing is also available to non-shareholding clubs. Although no further shareholders can be accepted, angling clubs can become affiliated to the Association paying an annual fee based on the size of the club. This will allow that clubs members the right to fish on Knypersley Reservoir. Any club interested in becoming affiliated should email dangoddard22@yahoo.co.uk
